During the first intermission the guy sitting next to us got a text from his mom; Emma was on national tv. She was recording the game so she was able to send us a few pics.
During the second intermission we went and got our first game certificate signed by the mascot and took some pictures. Then we came back to our seats and they put Emma on the jumbotron. A few minutes later while we were laughing over all the attention she got (she didn't notice herself on the screen as she was too busy looking at the lights and the people) they came back to her on the jumbotron with the Lion King frame. I'm looking at DH like
She really liked it. All the people and the lights. The mascot scared her a bit but then again so did Santa. And she made it until 9:30 (way past bedtime) without crying. We ended up leaving with 2 minutes left but the Avs were down by 4 points so it didn't matter.
Glad DD enjoyed the game. Too bad the Avs didn't make her first a win.
