Finally got a reply from one of the people selling a hardtop that's relatively local. Unfortunately it's from a later model so I'd need to spend a bit on parts to get the defroster up and running (probably $100-200), and the guy wants eight hundred for it. Not a terrible price, but not great either. It's also an incorrect shade of blue.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll ask if he's negotiable or willing to take partial trade for some stuff I have. It's been up for sale for three weeks, so it doesn't seem like anyone is chomping at the bit for what he's got... unlike the white one that I've sent two emails on. If he emailed, I'd consider driving the six hours round trip tomorrow night after work laugh out loud
I got my parts for mounting one, but I need to cut the side panel plastic to expose the nuts for the screws. So I have a rotary tool on the way from Amazon. But it does seem like I could pick one up and just attach from the rear bolts and the front latches as a temporary measure to transport it.

I sold the ECC memory out of my new Lenovo server back in late December, my first experience ever SELLING on that auction site. Thankfully, one memory module didn't require a larger box or increased handling fees.
