Speaking of which, the preliminary sunset plan was announced yesterday for our client's enterprise application. Looks like about three (maybe four) years left for this job, if we're fortunate. I'd say our management team is going to have a helluva time retaining people from now until then. Whistling

Depends on what kind of retention incentives they decide to offer. Frankly, I've seen enough of the slash-and-burn mentality and know it's only going to get worse. I believe it's definitely in my best interests to begin "leveraging" some contacts in the local job market.

Whatever incentives they MAY choose to offer, I'm not certain any of them could be considered "a big pile of money". This company is ridiculously stingy with any kind of incentive compensation.
