I played/sang for the former in-laws for around 1.5 hours on Friday after we got there. The youngling played piano and sax for them (she's been pretty happy with the sax so far, I have her working on the bit from Baker Street so maybe we can do that together).

That's the crap we're expecting here this week. Frown
We did have a surprising amount of rain in December, so there's that... I need to get some drainage issues around the house resolved in 2016.
Mechanic did get my fluid leak resolved, and it was indeed just the washer I suspected. I stopped there on Thursday, which was when we first got dumped on. Ran into him as he was going out to clear the snow from his satellite dish, and told him I'd prefer to pick the car up Saturday if possible, and he was good with it.

The forecast predicts 4" of snow this evening. This will be our first snow of the season. I can't wait to deal with all the people who have forgotten how drive in snow since last year. Mad

I was out shopping and could head the thunder inside JCPenney. As soon as I got out, I got pummeled by the rain. I tried to drive home but I could hardly see anything because of the rain and the wind was moving my Equinox. So instead of driving home I went to my SIL's house who lived nearby. SHe turned on the news and they had a map and right where my house is it was bright red. Thankfully, it didn't touch down there.

It did hit Garland. where a lot of my family members live but none of them got hit. Tornado blew some cars off the highway and into the side street EEK!

It was 80 degrees on Saturday before the rain. Crazy TX weather. It's 36 right now Crazy

I had that problem starting with my trip to WI/MN this past summer, but on the trip back from IN I discovered a stretch I could do for five minutes out of each hour that keeps me from having problems.
