Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I have no problem with hunting, think it's a good thing, but the baiting to lure it is an issue.

I do wish along with the trophy head ,that they would eat the meat......

Get your point on the "rarely ethically fed/raised" issue.
I don't hunt and I don't want to hunt. However, I think hunting is the best way to go - animals live a less stressed life and eat a diet that's perfect (and healthy) for them. I prefer to buy my meat nicely packaged where I don't have to see or participate in the processing. It already takes everything I have to eat it if I spend too much time thinking about where it came from. But, those animals that are in the grocery store - is it more humane to crowd them into a tight space and haul them off to slaughter, where they' can experience stress on the way there and are often shocked (with machines) to get them to move along in the line as opposed to hunters baiting them? Even if one doesn't care about the plight of the animals, eating meat from stressed animals is unhealthy for us. It can contain excess hormones released during the stress cycle and we ingest these hormones.

No, because they're guilty of texting and driving. I can't stand texting from the comfort of my couch, so I'm certainly never going to text while driving.

In a perfect world (for me) the chickens, etc. would be TRUE free range, not the labels by the farm factories.

I'm a meat eater, doesn't bother me to pluck a chicken, filet a fish or process a deer. I enjoy preparing them, whether I caught the fish or someone gives me venison.

As for the baiting, just seems like cheating to me. Not real hunting.

My dad was a hunter, but I never ate a single thing he killed. I can still remember the smell of burning feathers on ducks. vomit It's his fault for not introducing me sooner. LOL I was a picky child and ate meat of all kinds, just not wild game. As a result I've had a hard time being open to new kinds of meat, but I've managed to try a few things...had my first bite of venison in my late 20s and frog legs around that same period. My grandfather had a farm and I loved playing with the animals. I did NOT like when my grandmother tied a chicken to the porch, because I knew it meant that a neck was about to get twisted and we were going home with that bird. My mother said one time a chicken winked at her, so she told my grandmother no thank you. laugh out loud

Well this is all about to come to a head, because Sheriff Obama is now looking into it. He must have finally gotten around to calling the families of Kate and the Marines from TN, for him to have time for this. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

"#LionLivesMatter.

Not white lives, not Mexican, not Indian, just black and lion.

Imagine if there were such a thing as black lions. Whoa!"

laugh out loud I laughed a little (okay a lot) more than I should have.

Turns out the average Joe in Zimbabwe couldn't care less about the lion and doesn't understand the outrage. http://www.youngcons.com/obama-ad...ons-death/
