Hi Everyone! I have been in the Cafe style string light mood so I have been looking around for some deals. The ones costco sells are really good quality compared to Amazon and ebay. The cable on these are double the thickness of other brands so they seem like higher quality and will last longer. The only downfall is they are really heavy. They use to have them in store for $59.99 but most Costco's are sold out and online had them for $59.99 and $10 shipping. They were sold out for about a month and now they are back in stock for $64.99 plus $3 shipping, so $2 cheaper. If you get the 3 pack deal, you save $5/set. This deal isn't for everyone, but if you are in the market to get lights, this set is really good for the price. IMO.

If you buy bulk, you can get them for around $5/bulb. It's really not worth it to get these because you probably wont be leaving them on that often to really see the savings. Either way, the set comes with 36 regular 60watt bulbs.

Nope. CFL or LED would ruin their appearance.

Is it just me, or is this still expensive. Works out to be $21 per 48" string that has 24-bulbs. Compared to Christmas lights, this 3-set should be around $20-$25, not $60.

I bought 2 set of these for $39 each regularly $49 late summer last year. High quality and heavy duty. Left them up through the winter and held up fine.

How did you string them up? I purchased these from Costco last summer but never got around to putting them up. I was thinking of using cables ties...
