I just found out I got banned from Jet.com. I had 4 accounts where I used one of the 20% promo codes with the latest being one I created this morning. They deactivated sometime today apparently and a call to customer service confirmed this. My order from this morning is still in process, so I'll see if it ships.
I did have a strategy to avoid this, but it obviously did not work. I previously deleted the credit card and address from each of the used accounts after the order shipped to keep the accounts from being flagged as duplicates. They must retain the shipping and/or billing info elsewhere and search off of it.
I thought it might be helpful for others to see how many accounts others had and what the circumstances were to help non-banned users stay that way.
Accounts: 5 banned accounts. 1 of these is an account created since ban (new email address) which was banned the next day after order was shipped.
Same Name: Yes
Same Address: Yes
Same Credit Card: Yes on banned ones. Used a separate one for the 5th account.
Used Coupons: Yes

How do I know I was banned? When you try to log in with any of your banned accounts, you will get the message "This combination of email and password does not match an account on record. Please try again.". Previously the system would allow you to reset your password although you still couldn't log in. Now the reset link they send you just redirects to the main jet.com homepage and doesn't allow a password change.
Will I get a notification my account was banned/deactivated? It doesn't appear that you will
What will a call to customer service tell you? That your account was deactivated due to a security concern, but they won't tell you specifically why.
Will my order still ship? It's possible, but could go either way. Mine is still processing (per the customer service rep) and another user mentioned items from 3 out of 4 of their banned accounts shipped.
Can I create a new account after being banned? YMMV, but I was able to using the same name/address from my banned accounts. It was banned the next day after placing an order that shipped successfully. However, additional account creations have resulted in the orders immediately being cancelled after submitting (using a coupon) or later in the day (not using a coupon).
Why do they allow new accounts to be created after being banned? The running theory on various threads is that they are trying to artificially boost their registration numbers, so they can sell their company to someone else.
