They've marked it OOS/raised the price on the website but you can still get it for the lower price if you call.

Ask them to search for the Model # WYT012GLFI19RL on the website and they will see two results, one at $768 and one for $645.48 same item, they will adjust the price for you. Online Customer Support: 800-466-3337, select place an order in the menu.

============

Check and see if you'll qualify for a rebate on this unit. In FL I will get $150.

You probably should put the manufacturer in the title and I'm seeing $768, not $652.

My HD shows $768. It is good in the comments you put this may be a clearance item. Could you please add YMMV or Clearance in the title? Thanks. I repped you for a good price spotting.

Showed this at $635 on app and added to cart. When I went to comptuer to browse models this showed $748 OOS. Came back to app and let me order. Glitch? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pione.../326231244

not sure if this is what I need tho since it comes with 16ft lines and I might need more.

The reason this is on sale is the low btu for a 200+ volt system. If this was 120v you'd be solid but look into adding the cost of a 240v circuit to this price (for most)

For 12k btu just get a window unit for half the price and near zero effort that works on 120v

Something likethis Midea, you mean? I agree. Mini splits are great, and this one is about as quiet as you'll find, but you're right, for 12k BTU may as well just get an inverter window unit. The U-shaped Mideas have become very popular because they're quiet, efficient, and cheap, especially with the deals you see here for them. A self-installable 120V mini split would be on my radar, but not 12k BTU requiring a 220 line.

Good luck finding one of those with heat.

Great deal. IMO, 240v is better because we can use a smaller, less expensive wire. Military discount works as well. $586.80

Nah, 240v takes ~6A, 110V takes ~12A. Minimum realistic wire is 14AWG which is good for 15A.

Believe it or not, the higher voltage actually makes it slightly more efficient. Also, these need a dedicated circuit regardless. You'll basically be running 12/2 wire to it regardless of 240v or 120v. Really just comes down to breaker space.

Unfortunately some of us have homes where the previous owners really really loved casement windows so window units aren't an option. 😭

I'd use 12ga for 12a, due to the voltage drop on longer lengths. Might be overkill, but easier on the compressor. Most recently, I used 10ga in a long run in a barn to keep horse gear at a good temp and humidity. Granted, a dual pole breaker is a bit more than SP.
