How many wings can you eat? Pizza slices? Burgers? Sushi?

Tonight I made hot wings for dinner and ate three, and a spoonful of macaroni salad. I (lightly) chastised my husband for eating 6 wings and then wanting to eat more. Yes, they are unhealthy and no, I don't make them very often, but the bigger question here is, how many is too many? If I had eaten one more, I would have thrown up.
When we get pizza, I only eat one slice. I'm not a huge fan of pizza but that's not why I don't eat more. I just feel like one slice is enough. When we go out for sushi, I eat 3 pieces. Not rolls, pieces.
But I know so many people that boast about being able to eat a whole pizza, or 20 chicken wings, or 2 burgers, or 2 dozen oysters, etc.
That Nathan's hot dog eating contest? Yeah, I would seriously die after the third one.
How do those people not explode?

There's barely enough meat on three wings to figure out what they even taste like.
One slice of pizza?
Stopping there is like ending sex when your belt is unbuckled.
I have always eaten a ton, food eating tournaments and everything. lol
I eat around 40 wings when I get wings.
I eat an entire pizza when I get pizza
I eat pounds of spaghetti when I eat spaghetti.
I basically eat everything infront of me.
We have a local submarine place called submarine house, they have a challenge you get so much time, if you eat it its free + shirt and name on wall for a bigger event. lol. I Make it into begginning and semi finals, but im always bumped out in finals. I eat mine in 4-5minutes. (everyone there is like 250lbs) they eat theres in like 2minutes... winner gets a few grand.
my last sub I ate. its massive.. don't let it fool you. and I was still hungry afterwards. lol
I've been training myself to eat less though, i've weighed 150 for 8 years but yeah. Its not healthy to eat how I do and how fast I do. lol I don't even chew, just bite, swallow. Not gross or anything, but if I eat with people, 2-3 bites my foods gone. Someone always notices "da heck?!" they have full plates of food :| if I am on a date, I use a fork and just.. poke stuff, so I dont eat very much/fast.
I've been told that I eat so fast, that I don't get full. It makes sense, If I take a bite or two and sit around 10 mins I feel same as I do if I eat everything. Military trained me to eat that way to gain weight (125 to 150 in 3 months) but i've never changed since that. >:|
Two slices of pizza.
One hamburger.
No sushi, as I'm allergic to shellfish and don't want to die.
That's if it's on the one or two days a week I'm actually able to eat due to health issues.
My dad has always said "food is a necessity, not a luxury." Ninety-nine percent of the time I totally agree.
And yet I love to cook.
Some days I forget to eat. It will be 3 in the afternoon and I start to get a headache or grouchy and my husband will ask if I ate anything yet. I think about it and uhhh, nope.

Same! About two weeks ago I had been getting ready to go up to KY. I had been running around and really busy. Then the night before I left I felt like death warmed over, like I was gonna faint when I was just taking a shower. I wondered wtf was wrong and then I remembered I hadn't eaten for 2 days, lol. Then the next week I was ravenous and wanted to eat everything in sight.

For reference I'm 31 male 5'11" 215-220lbs mostly muscular gym goer. I'm not ripped because I'm too lazy for that but when I don't lift weights I drop to 195-200 .

I'm 6'7" 250 lbs, and I can eat 1/2 a pizza, 2-3 sushi rolls, 25-30 wings. 2 dozen oysters because I LOVE oysters. 2 racks of ribs because I love ribs.
Pizza definitely depends on what's on it. Regular pizza, I can easily eat 4-6 slices depending on how hungry I am or how much time elapses. I'll hit a wall around 4 if we're just sitting there eating pizza, but if we're watching football of something and more time elapses, I can have one or two more. If we're talking about pizza with toppings, well, I usually like the heavier toppings like chicken or meatballs. I tend to tap out after 2 but could probably stuff another one down.
I can't eat a lot of oysters because they remind me of boogers. I can only eat like 2 boogers.
The difference between people that can eat a lot and those that can't is not size or weight or fatness; it's how much you regularly stretch out your stomach. If you usually eat some given amount, whether that is a small amount of a large amount, it is unlikely that you'll be able to go very far beyond that amount without being uncomfortable. If you eat varying amounts and stretch out your stomach by binging once in awhile, chances are you can probably eat a LOT if given the opportunity.
