Starting with Viggle app version 3.23.0.1, the Live Check-in feature was removed.
Taxes and 1099s:
In October 2018, Perk started requiring users who have redeemed $400 or more to fill out a W-9 form here [perk.com]. Users who do not feel comfortable disclosing their name, address, and social security number to Perk should keep earnings below this threshold annually. Once this limit is reached, the user account is flagged and no further rewards redemption is possible until the W-9 form is submitted. The start of the new year (Jan 1) does NOT automatically nullify this requirement. At this time, it appears Perk does not report earnings to the IRS until earnings reach $600 or more as required by the IRS [irs.gov].

i know someone suggested waiting a week or so, but given how different the app is already seems to be it seems like the best move will be to copy all of today's perk-related posts from this one to the new, so all that we're learning will be in one place. my proposal is to do this tonight, after primetime. there will be a link to the new thread as the last post of this one, as well in the top of the schedule wiki, so everyone knows where to find it.
does this seem reasonable? thanks to everyone who has been posting their findings so far!
Logged out of droid and back in on iPhone 6, and the converted points were listed but there still wasn't an option to convert in the menu.

what device are you using that allows "multi-tasking" ?? ipad?? I'm so jealous!!!
but i was able to convert my points on android, but can't on iPad.. Vigil will fix that issue they said.
and to BiBi, no you don't watch the show while checked in.. i'm sitting here watching People v OJ while still being checked into Survivor and earning points the whole time..
the point varies.. i started out w/ 9 points each commercial then it switched to 12 points, then to 4 pts and now my last commercial break is going to give me 3 points LOL!!!!
i need to see the the total points made off that show, compare it Viggle's 3x, then use the 20:1 conversion rate to see how it compares!
nine, nine, twelve, nine, nine nine plus one point for doing a check in... so far....despite what it says in the app, transaction history shows different...i'm still checked in to Survivor though kol

all this on iPad.. Android ads will freeze sometimes... trying agin...
Checked into Survivor with LG Fuel (Droid) and made it through to the first commercial break. App had loading wheel pop up and then went to a dead screen with the play button. Those who Perk will be familiar with this screen of death. It requires a whole data clearing, re-logging in, etc. Needless to say, I was awarded zero points for the first break, whatever it was.
Frustrated, I logged out and then back in on iOS, iPhone 6. I checked into news on CBS. It's giving 3 points every 5 minutes or so.
I guess I will need to try a bonus show on iOS, but I am not sure I want to waste the life of my battery and screen by having it run constantly just to get a few points. Seems like it's faster just to use Rewards Reader, Pop Quiz, Word Search etc. to earn points.

When I did, I got a pop up to order Perk Plastic at a discount 50K instead of 60K. I already have perk plastic, but I couldn't get the pop up to go away. It didn't have an X or a way to slide it up/down/to the side, so I force closed the app and went back in. Now it just lists my Perk stuff and doesn't have any info from my Viggle. The place in the Menu that you have the exchange option is not on mine at all. I looked at it on Viggle Supports screenshot too, and I simply don't have that option. My assumption is that the accounts didn't actually link up. But I don't know, and there doesn't seem to be a way to check if they accounts are linked up once you've opened the app and done the steps it prompts.
The good news is that someone elsewhere that uses 2 different email addresses for V and P was able to get the Exchange screen to come up. He didnt complete the trxn though because he wasnt certain if he wanted Perk plastic or just to convert.

and the perk apps all tend to freeze on certain ads...seems pointless.
