Friendly reminder about the slickdeals trade rules. These rules apply everywhere on the site, including pm.

Note rule #12 in particular: "You can trade an item that has a value over $5 for any other item that has a value of $5 or less. For example, you can trade a Fandango GC (ARV $13.50) for a $5 Amazon CG, but you cannot trade the Fandango code for something over $5 (like a $14 Amazon GC)."

In brief, you are free to trade gift cards of any value but the most that you can ask for in exchange is a $5 gift card. Similarly, the most you can offer someone for their gift card is a $5 gift card. Please feel free to pm a mod if you need clarification.

It seems like viggle gc are still causing people trouble, unfortunately I kept a lot of gc to hold as gifts and now wonder. The ones that worry me are the restaurant ones, as until u pay bill, u won't know if u have a problem, and u can't just tell them to avoid the order after u consume it. I think he's is worst as there is only a simple numeric number with no code. Kinda leaving there gc holder out in rain.

I have never had any problems with Viggle giftcards and I do have them going back months especially the food ones where I save them for special occasions. And I only read three recently here on the thread of which 2 viggle is investigating (or so the viggler said) so I dont really think that is a problem. The third doesn't appear to be a viggle problem but a user/buyer problem.

I get the distinct impression if I said the sky was blue, u would say it is red, bc it's dusk where u are.

I count more, 2 cvs issues, 1 bww issue and now this one, I consider it a viggle issue bc the gc came from giggle. A lot of people jumped on the band wagon when the cvs issue was brought up. So I'm not quoting all of them.
And good that u spend ur gift cards right away, it is my right to spend when I want and how I want. I'm glad it's not a issue for u, but it is for me. If I want to give a gift card as a gift I shouldn't have to worry about it being invalidated at time of redemption.
I'm glad you chose not to redeem bc u had better things to do rather than refresh, but the rest of us did and might have trouble with the gc.

I counted the CVS issues as one - and the BWW issue - those are the two that I know viggle was working on. Vigglers did say viggle responded to them for more information. I don't associate these with a problem for people, nor would I tell people that there is a problem going on.

I don't believe everything is a lost cause and I dont panic every time something goes wrong. I am a very positive person and negativity bothers me because if people took the time to understand they wouldnt get so uptight over situations.

If you actually converted points, the screen should immediately say something like "you now have X number of Viggle points remaining," and that number should be 20000 less than it previously was (or 60K, if it's your first exchange of the month and you did the monthly allotment). If you don't get that message then the exchange didn't go through.

Regardless, the app doesn't update points on the main screen as you're earning them (yet?). You have a couple options to review your current points.

1. Log out of the app: menu > settings > log out and then log back in. Log back in and your points should be refreshed on the main home page of the app to the current amount.

2. In the app, open the menu (three bar icon in top left), scroll down to My account on the side loaded menu that has come up and click. It should open a new page with your perk info showing your current totals.

3. Log in to your Perk account online at getperk.com

There you can click on your Transaction history (from the drop down menu on your account name in the upper right corner). It will show the last 75 or so point transactions, including any converted points.

Each one of these options will show you the current total, so the choice is yours. If you check and the converted points don't show up, then they didn't convert. So just try again if you are at the 1K earned in Perk threshold and it should work. Even when it does, though, the number on your home screen won't change; you'll need to use one of the options above to verify that it has worked.

I do believe you have to earn them from the start of the conversion and not have any "carryovers". Not sure but that's what I hear. And the 100 you get for verifying your email may not count towards that 1000 and neither may the points you already redeemed. So others say.......

I think you are right and the carry over points didn't count. As my 20K just went though when I tried so it has to be newly earned points from conversion date.

thanks it seems like I was trying to count my 300 Perk points I had as when I got to 4600 after my initial 3K conversion it converted another 20K..yeah this is gonna be a longgg process lol..

You can do them at the same time without it being an issue.

People here can try to help, but first you'll need to specify the device you are using for this account and, if applicable, the operating system. Different devices are experiencing different things, so that information is needed to diagnose whether a bug in the app is affecting your experience or if there's a fix you can apply yourself.

One thing I can tell you now: if you uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, when you log in you should be able to enter the app with only your Viggle user ID and password if the accounts are successfully linked. If you are prompted to enter or create a Perk account after you enter your Viggle credentials, the accounts have not been linked.
