What does your avatar and name mean?

8,228 1,499 December 11, 2003 at 09:58 PM
Well, my name was honestly just pulled out of my butt, literally. I joined the website becuase I used it for about 7 months and always wanted to post, but never did. So one day I said screw it and threw together ElDorito. My avatar is Venom, who is by far the coolest supervillian ever (at least in Marvel...) It flashes nice thanks to Oni! thanks again.. Curious what yours means...

The definition of subtle: So slight as to be difficult to detect or describe

From what I have seen, you are certainly a flirt, but anything but subtle!!

Not that this is a bad thing...

OK let's see how can I explain my user name... well I'm sure all of you(or at least most of you) know the word "jockin" such as that guy is jockin(likes) that girl, etc. Well couple years ago me & a friend were making up words and I made up Jockable, comparing it to words like adorable, huggable, lovable, etc.

Now the Avatar...I guess I don't need to explain what that means lol. It just looks good. The wife thinks I'm silly for putting that picture but the only thing that matters is that she never forced me to remove it Smilie

Benno is my name, 123 is a number that I added because I want to use the same login name for all the websites that require it. First I just used Benno, but sometimes that was taken.

My title refers to the country where i was born and spend most of my life, The Netherlands, making me the Dutch Man. I came by plane to the US, thus the Flying Dutchman.

I choose the Hawaiian hula dancer as my avatar because i thought it was a funny picture, certainly now Scullygirl made her move. And I also choose it because i got married on Hawaii, which was a great experience.

My normal ID on the net is usually DiscoStu or some variant if it's already taken. I have no clue why I used my name when I signed up on Slickdeals originally. I have been thinking of emailing an Admin to see if they'd change it for me.
That being said, my avatar is self explanatory.

My name is the first letter of my first name and then my last name.

My avatar depicts what has happened to my money since joining slickdeals.

El Chupacabra is a mythical creature that is believed to feed on animals at night, particularly goats and chickens. A google search will reveal all....

The avatar ? Well... there's probably some connection between Mr. Gates and El Chupacabra, but you didn't hear it here.

My name & avatar come from Warcraft. The orc characters say "Yes, warchief" and so my avatar is this big ugly orc. I don't know why I chose orcs. They're pretty powerful I guess.

A lot of phrases from Warcraft invaded my workplace. We now say "work, work" to describe mundane tasks and such. And Warcraft was the game that made me into gamer-girl Wink
