In some parts of the country Home Depot sells Sakrete instead. The 60lbs bag of Sakrete is $1.98, but the bulk pricing isn't as good at $1.58 with a 56 bag minimum.

Quikrete 60 lbs is $1.98 here, but bulk pricing is $1.58 for 56 bags. The 14 quantity is odd for their bulk pricing. 56 is a pallet.

If you have a car capable of carrying 4-5 adults and a truck/hatch, spread the bags among the seating and/or footrest areas and the trunk.

This reminds me of a friend who attempted to carry loads of paving stones in his Mercedes E-class sedan's trunk over several trips. I'm not sure how heavy was the load, and his car did limp through the first trip, though it cost him thousands in suspension repair afterwards shake head.

I see the 60lb bag at $3.10 and the 80lb bag at 2.88.

ALso, i have put about 10 of these in a BMW 3 series the way FatFaluz described.

Did it really? Wow, the hd probably had a truck rental [homedepot.com] too.

The bulk pricing has changed to $1.58 with a 56 bag minimum, but the per bag price of $1.98 is still active and beats competitor prices for similar bags.

I hope I bought enough.

Edit, oh I see someone already mentioned this.

That's 840 lbs.

So if you drive a 5 passenger vehicle then that would be like having 5 168lbs humans in your car and nothing else.

I'm pretty sure a car can handle us fat Americans and thus can handle more than 14 bags of concrete.
