For members. No matter where you bought your tires.

I bought my tires at firestone but didnt get the road hazard so when I called them, they said $24.95 to fix it.

Then I remembered that Sams was advertising on the gas pumps free flat repair.

I called and the man said one time per tire but that yeah, they'd fix it for free.

Ive had 5-6 flats repaired over the years and usually they just plug it.

Sams took the wheel off the car, the tire off the wheel and repaired it right.

Then rebalanced it all for free.

I just happend to have run over a 3 inch nail about the time I heard about it.

Another thing I noticed while there is a windshield wiper display. Around $7-8 I think for a pair of wiper blades and they will install them free. My stores display seemed to be running low and mine are fine but if you need wiper blades, it'd be cheaper than autozone Im sure.

Very true. I used to work at one. Just a word of advice, don't go into America's Tire/Discount Tire 5 minutes before it closes since it annoys the hell out of all the workers since we have to stay extra time to close the store. It's alot of labor for those that haven't tried to change tires in 100 degree weather for 8 hours and not even get tipped a dollar for servicing their tires while thanking them for their business in dripping sweat. *I live in Southern California

** On a side note, if you have a flat thats about an inch away from the side wall, it's not safe to repair the tire because as you go closer to the sidewall of the tire, the more weaker it becomes. If there's any impact on that tire at that point, expect the tire to blow on you. Otherwise, if your flat is on any other part of the tire, the plug and patch that's done at America's/Discount Tires is really reliable. And no I'm not trying to sell the companies service. laugh out loud

So... be kind and try not to go last minute.

k thnx. Big Grin

and thanks for listening my ramble. ZzZZz
