i have about a dozen of these. they are basically benchmarked after the Plano ones. the Plano ones are made in USA which is a huge perk and can be found at Walmart for $4.99 (when in stock). i have about a dozen Plano ones as well. they're both pretty good, and at $3.99 with coupon this is the lowest i have ever seen these

also - they are great for non-ammo storage as well.

my Walmart had the Plano cans on clearance last week for 2.50...I got some, but really prefer the .50 cal or larger cans.

Seems expensive for a plastic box. When I was in the Marine Corps we used to get the metal ones for free.

But then again, that was a reallllllly long time ago.

Limit 8? Guess I'll have to keep stashing my ammo in my sister's doll houses

Do yourself a favor and buy the real surplus cans. Remember you get what you pay for.

Not always. I have many if these and they're fine. Zero problems.

I have a bunch of the smaller Plano ones. Not sure what model but they hold about 8-10 boxes of 9mm which was all I wanted in one box due to weight. I don't move mine around too much but I worry about the weight bending the plastic. So far no problem but like I said, I have not moved mine around too much. I usually just load up a range bag when going shooting. I may try a few of these.

These are sometimes $4.99 with coupon so this is the cheapest they've been I believe. I have about 10 of them being used for various things as well as ammo and have had no problems. They can bend and break with enough force but so can the Plano ones. Good deal.

I'm not joining the Marines just to get free ammo boxes.

I will stick with my 50cal metal ones, I can pack them full and I don't have to worry about them breaking. Granted I got them about 3 years ago, but I don't think I paid more than $7 or $8 each. Worth every penny.

These are also the perfect size for an old CJ5 Jeep's replacement glove box. Used in my 1962 CJ5, fits great.

But think of the time travel aspect. That has to be worth it.
