I looked for this post but didn't see it, if it is a repost, my apologies, plus it is my first post. I just updated my free superantispyware and a pop up appeared for their Halloween special of the software for only 9.95 and a second license for the same price. Here is the link:

For years (since before 2004), Microsoft has recommended SuperAntiSpyware; techs for many companies encourage users to install it while troubleshooting virus/malware issues and suggest its installation as a general utility tool.
One can test with the free version: Clear browser cache, history, & cookies from the browser; close the browser, then run SuperAntiSpyware—SAS will find more tracking elements. As an IT Tech in the Silicon Valley, part of my position was managing the world-wide anti-malware/anti-spyware program. I run SAS at least once a day, as part of my anti-malware/anti-virus defense package. Some of its advantages over other tools is that it is lightweight, extremely fast, and has at least once daily updates.
Suggestions: "Check for Updates" before running and note the number and types of new definitions it adds: Trojan Agents, Ransom Global Imposters, etc. I always run it before shutting down and restarting (so Trojans, rootkits, etc., may have less of a chance to replicate).
