Do you think it is wrong or okay for people to take peelies (coupons) off of items in the store when they don't ever buy that item?

Because we all know that ALL 1-800-flowers peelies being sold on Ebay are STOLEN from the boxes at your neighborhood Walgreens, and thus are being sold for profit by greedy peelie thieves, and there is NO earthly possibility that the person/people selling them actually bought the chocolate.

They should have the Ebay seller(s) send their store receipts directly to YOU, since that sounds like the only way you would perhaps believe the damn things weren't stolen. Ebay leaving the auctions up, or some of them, wouldn't be enough evidence.

Since it's here, I'll just say this:

I know a guy who works for Kroger here and I was in there a while back when they had the 50% off Keebler sale. He told me, as I was buying cookies, that there had been peelies on them that made the cookies free, but some woman came and peeled them all off. He said he saw her doing it, but they can't say anything......because it's not stealing. Roll

I used to work in Kroger as an asst manager.. I can tell you that would be tough to prosecute because it's a manufacturer's coupon.

I might take an occasional extra peelie but I make sure to leave some for the next guy. I was in the grocery store and some lady was climbing on the shelves taking every peelie. I bet she had a 20 some peelies. WTH. Greed turns some people into pigs.

You might not get arrested for it. But it's a nasty thing to do when you take ALL the peelies from the store.

Omg, I seen a lady at target after xmas, she was taking all off the coupons on the products in the toy isle and stuffing them in her purse, I got her attention infront of an Target Staff and said, You only need 1 coupon plus that goes with the item when Its bought and you are not buying it.. she froze and the threw them out of her purse on the floor and walked out

It is amazing the lengths that people will go to to convince themselves that they aren't doing anything wrong. Just amazing! Taking a peelie off of an item without buying that item is wrong. Really not complicated.

As for Ebay, they can ask where the promotional gift cards came from and then require a proof of purchase before selling them. (It's in the user agreement)
But yeah the worst they could do is shut the auction down and prevent new auctions from popping up, which is good enough in my book.

Seriously, who are you? If you have such inside information on here and are willing to post it let us know who you are and where you are from. Let me ask you a question also -do you buy 2 cans of green beans and use two coupons even tho the coupons say one per purchase? Let us not point fingers untill we have taken the log out of our own eye. Just my 2 cents
