Store Returns COMING To My House

Weird situation that maybe someone has some advice on. I'm not looking for advice such as "Keep it" or a past tense "I would have.." I am looking for advice on moving forward with this issue. Its nuts.
Also, something to note; I work away from home and I am sometimes home for only 24 hours in an 8 day period. I just happen to have been home for the past few days. My wife is in a similar situation.
Thursday Dec 1st I get text from my wife asking if I ordered a Kitchenaid mixer. I tell her I didn't. She says one showed up at the house addressed to her. Weird. I tell her I can deal with it when I get home and try to figure it out. She'd rather I do this stuff.
Friday; I get a "Yikes" email as a 43" 4k TV has shown up with an HP Laptop. I call the store in question and they tell me to get them the details when I get home. I get home around midnight Saturday and after looking at the packages I see that for some reason my house has become a returns center for this national store.
I call them Sunday. I'm on hold for ages so I hang up and call my nearest store. I speak with the manager and I tell her I have these items; other people's returns. She says she's on it and I'll hear from her soon.
Monday and I hear nothing. I go to the gym, come home and there's a 40" TV, a trash can, a blanket, a Samsung phone case, a Keurig K55, a hair dryer and two large boxes containing a trampoline. I call the 800 number again and this time I speak to someone and I am told that I need to return all this to the store. Not going to happen so I end the call.
Up to this point the attitude has been pretty dismissive and while I'm out and about that night I start to realize they don't believe me. So, seeing as I am about 10 miles from the store I decide to drive over. I speak to three people, all with varying levels of disbelief. I show them pictures of the items and they take my name and address, etc and tell me they'll be in touch. I hear nothing for the rest of the day so I assume (rightly) they really don't care. So as one last attempt I try social media. I contact them on Facebook around midnight get a reply at 9am. They ask for my number and call an hour later. I speak with someone who really sounds like they don't know what day it is. She assures me they HAVE stopped the deliveries and that I will get nothing else. I ask if she'd like to bet. She says no and says they will arrange a pick up and also I can expect a gift card for my honesty. I ask when will they pick it up and she says I can expect to hear within the hour. This is Tuesday. I head out for the afternoon and when I get home I have two 55" TVs and some patio furniture. I get no call on Tuesday.
Wednesday is a quiet day. No call from these people but, as if by magic I get a 32" Vizio TV. Non- Smart and 720p. Hardly worth taking off the doorstep.
Last night we decided that with our schedules over Christmas and being away so much from now on that we were going to move all this stuff out to the garage. IF they call I will tell them that on Jan 10th, after the holidays, they can come get it. We're pretty fed up with the whole thing. Our small house is a like a warehouse and we've actually delayed putting up the Christmas decorations until it was cleared, which we expected on Tuesday or Wednesday but had hoped for Monday.
Today I am heading to work later and for the next couple of weeks we're in and out of our home town. A gift card arrived in my email for $100. I checked the Facebook account to see if I had a message and I do. It says basically "we sent you a gift card and we are WORKING ON SETTING UP A PICK UP"!!! Not, we've set it up or call these people. Just that they are "working on it". Bless them.
So, seeing as this has turned from a funny story in to a real pain in the arse, what would you do from now on? Pretty much I doubt we'll be going out of our way to arrange a pick up with anyone until after New Year unless it's 100% convenient and I am in no way leaving my house empty with over $3000 worth of stuff on my doorstep. I think I've made more than a fair effort to return this stuff at my inconvenience on my last block of days off before Christmas.
Also, this company doesn't seem to give a crap that people's returns must be going missing. I've thought about trying to call some of the people listed on the labels to let them know that should they get hassle for not returning items then I have them but I kind of assumed this would all have been with very quickly. That's still a possibility I suppose.
I think too that this company might be in the middle of some major hack from things I've seen.
My current situation is that we are more than likely going with the "come and get it Jan 10th scenario" as they seem to be more interested in doing things they way it suits them. Nuts
