So I can't use Best Buy gift cards ? did earn Best Buy points when you use Best Buy gift cards? if not then this may make sense

it depends on type of points. I remember they had similar deal for Marketplace purchase and the only reason I did not get on that deal was because those points could only be used on the marketplace purchase. that's why I wonder what kind of points are these, regular points to be used at Sears/Kmart or something else
