FreedomPop 3 in 1 GSM LTE Sim $4.99 + tax, free shipping (was $1.99 for a couple of hours)

This was $1.99 when posted. Was changed by freedompop to $4.99 afterwards.

Based on the map and the 200mb per month, this seems to be the AT&T domestic LTE sim.

Will have to downgrade the Premium 1GB $19.99 a month trial within the first month.

This isn't a traditional voice/text/data plan, it is a data plan. Voice service and texts are provided over the data network using the FreedomPop app, not over the voice network. (On Android, the FP app replaces your dialer app. On iOS, you need to use the FP app, it does not use your phone's regular dialer and texting apps, though iMessage should work to another iOS device). Voice service with the FreedomPop app, especially inbound calls, can be unpredictable. If you are using the phone in areas with poor data service, it will have poor voice service.

Do BOTH to get free service (though you may want to make sure your SIM is activated properly before downgrading):
Change to Free Basic Plan [freedompop.com]
Downgrade from Premier [freedompop.com]

Note that you may also want to consider ending automatic top-ups, and that will cost $5.

I ordered the 4G LTE GSM Hotspot and they sent me a 3G Global one.

I'm still fighting them. They are saying it's not them or the fact that it's a European Global SIM. They are saying it's because I have not turned 4G on for the 4G Hotspot.

I warn everyone, there is a 98% chance you'll receive a 3G Global SIM. Good luck getting the right one. Freedompop Support and shipping departments don't know the SIMs are different.

Yes. It uses AT&T LTE/GSM network. So LTE/4G/3G.
AT&T no longer has 2G service in USA.

foggmobile has both ATT and Tmobile network. Which provide better coverage.

I'll wait for $2 deal. The foggmobile SIMs are working great BTW...except for the UK redirect annoyances on websites.

Nice to see LTE. All previous GSM deals were 3G only. I would wait for .99 or 1.99 deal though.

Got 1 when it was $1.99 for my AT&T MiFi 5792. Have been waiting for it so I can test the new LTE SIM with my AT&T MiFi 5792 and also want to test it with my Global MiFi to see if I get LTE with the LTE SIM
