It looks like National Powersports Distributors scored a bunch of brand new 2016 Triumph America motorcycles. They show them still in their shipping crates on the website:

If link above doesnt' work, try this one

Update: This may be available at your local dealer. At least one poster responded that the same price is available in Tampa, FL. Check local if you're interested in this.

The air cooled Triumph twins have very good reputations for ride and reliability. If you look through their used inventory, you'll see these new bikes are priced below the used ones. Wow. No idea if they're charging assembly or delivery beyond typical $600 cross-country shipping for motorcycles

Not really my kind of motorcycle, but if you like the cruiser style, this strikes me as a screaming deal. Now if they had a new Thruxton or a Scrambler, I might be tempted to add that to my collection.

I have never bought from this company before, but they've been on ebay for quite a while. 91 positives and 1 negative in the past 12 months.

Here in America, we say "Made in America". In Central America, it's "hecho en Centro Americano", in South America, it's "hecho en Sud Americano".
U.S.A is America, since 1776. I learned that in geography class in the 2nd grade.
I think this would be a very easy riding bike that would compare well to a Harley 1200 Sportster, but probably smoother and quieter. (My wife has had Sportsters for years - I like it, it's a great little bike, but feels cramped for me.) This Triumph and the Sporty weigh about the same ~550 lbs. The Sporty is 70 hp and the Triumph must be in that ballpark. The engine displacement is smaller, but it revs higher (displacement per minute would lead to about the same power). What I'm saying is that you won't get in big trouble given this power to weight ratio and you'd have plenty of get up and go to ride it on the highway, city, anywhere. The bigger issue is the weight if you drop it. 550 lbs is not too heavy, especially for a cruiser, but that could be an issue for a beginner. I always recommend beginners start small and used and cheap until they really know how to ride. But this is a great price even with the shipping and other fees.

Thanks for posting this!
A friend of mine got harassed for her triumph t-shirt by someone who obviously couldn't read 😂

Heh, used to have a BSA (Bastad Stalled Again). Great price, but that website is scaring me off. Looks like shipping is $499 for most and they also have a $495 "set up fee", whatever that is - I assume getting the bike street ready, or something. The payment terms are as follows:

"We accept certified bank checks, money orders, bank to bank wire transfers, and of course cash in person. Paypal and credit cards may be used for the deposit, but NOT for the full amount."

Is this a good starter bike? If no, what would you recommend? Thank you!
