That's something you should add by yourself. Some states charge tax, some don't. No one is here to spoon feed you.

there are many cities/towns around the country that have big box store bans to encourage buying from local or state based companies or made in usa only. depends on the regulation. in texas quite a few small towns have made in usa only commercial zones. i would think of it as a more conservative idea honestly, but i guess there are many liberals that prefer made in usa only products.

Because some folks (like me) have some Amazon gift card balances I need to use up. And buying something I can use... like this motor oil (especially at this price) is a no brainer.

Also, the 'internet pickup people' at my 2 local Walmart stores have their fingers firmly inserted in their arses... therefore, this situation makes it very difficult for them to do their jobs properly. This behavior, evidently, is more the rule, rather than the exception. A lot of folks have had this same experience, nationwide.

The task of walking into a Walmart & then picking up a confirmed internet order should only take maybe 5 minutes (8-10 minutes at MOST). Somehow, these flunkies always stretch it out to 20+ minutes. And I SWEAR TO YOU, I am not exaggerating. They never fail to fail.

Sorry... I know that was a long explanation, but perhaps by reading thus far, you can now feel my disgust for my (internet pickup portion, for sure) local Walmart. You see, I gave them about 4-5 chances (4-5 separate order pickup instances) to get my order to me promptly & they failed to do so, EVERY time.

Never again will I pick up anything at my local Walmart that has been previously ordered from their website. I do shop there & 'standard shopping' isn't that bad, fyi.

Amazon-bought oil shipped to my front door > Walmart in-store internet pickup.

What is sad is that Walmart has had several YEARS to streamline their 'internet order pickup process'... and MAYBE they've improved their 'order fulfillment speed' by 1 or 2 minutes. We're all still waiting patiently for said 'streamlining'.

Losers.

OK. I feel better. :-)

I'm hoping for Amazon to price match this before biting. How is this compared to Mobile 1 and Valvoline?

I use Ultra Platinum but Platinum alone is still better than M1 and Valvoline, but not much of a difference in the end, M1 is solid.
