Good news:
1. Projector is valid on online orders too...
LG has updated redemption form on its website.. Below the store number it says ...
"Please enter the T-Mobile Store # where you purchased your device. Usually found in the top left corner of your receipt. If purchased online enter CARE here."

For Tmobile "Tax saving " promotion (11% discount for UNLIMITED ONE PLAN HOLDERS): link [t-mobile.com]
All smartphones purchased on an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) are eligible.
-For people who plan to order :
Use the promo code: 17DEVICECREDIT( this is just let you know that there is a promotion for your purchase. However, there is not clear instruction how to use this code during checkout. If you can't find a way to make this work, follow these steps below)
-For people already placed the order:
1.Visit www.t-mobile.com/promotions [t-mobile.com]
2. Enter your account information along with promo code: 17DEVICECREDIT
3. In 6-8 weeks, you'll get 11.2% back via Prepaid MasterCard® Card.

To check your status: https://promotions.t-mobile.com/OrderSearch

P/s:
FYI, there are people reported they successfully got 11% off by using this promotion for their order ( apply code during checkout).
I personally didn't know about this when i ordered so i already submitted my claim using t-mobile.com/promotion webpage. I received email that tmobile is currently reviewing my claim.

For LG Free Projector Promotion:
-Order at Tmobile Store: Following instruction on LG website
-Order through phone/online(T-mobile website): Online orders are eligible and that you should put the order # in the box where it says Store # in the submission page. Print out your email receipt, circle the item, print, sign and date your name. Take a picture of the entire print out, not just the circled portion. Submit this as your receipt. Mine was approved today.

Order at store and want to ger free shipping & upgrade fee :

Bought an S7 Edge and V20 in store, then called T-Mobile customer service and told them website was having issues so couldn't order online. Rep immediately credited both upgrade fees and I get the phone right away without shipping charges. Great deal!

**************************
For people want to use this phone with Verizon
This is the H918 variant
It will NOT work with Verizon, no CDMA chip on board

I could be wrong but I don't believe that the G6 will be much of an upgrade from the V20. Paying $360 for a V20 over $600ish for a G6 would probably be the better way to go.

Different class of phone, and no huge leap in silicon since last fall.

Can I flash this to make it work with Verizon?
You shouldn't need to flash it. Its more about which bands its compatible with. It has to support LTE bands on the frequencies Verizon runs on (700mhz maybe?)

I see that they have the S7 Edge for the same price, which is really the better phone? Looking for a better camera. Coming from LG G3

These are not factory unlocked though - you will be stuck with a phone that can be used only on tmobile.

Best deal on a flagship smartphone (especially with the projector) since BF deal on Pixel for <$300 with Verizon DPP (still kicking myself for missing that). Only reservation is the LG reliability issues with previous phones. This should be FP soon.
