Looks like Mobil is using a new rebate processing Center (Arrowhead Promotion).
This is the 1rst time I've have trouble with my rebate from Mobil.

Multiple earlier iterations of this semi annual thread seem to confirm that Mobil honors the rebate for purchases from Amazon and other outlets not specifically listed on the list.

But just to remove any doubts, I buy from Walmart and use the Mobil 1 rebate every time; they go through like clockwork. This whole process is so worry free at this point that I'm not looking to find an incrementally better deal any more.

I believe in the past the terms just said "from participating retailers" and it never listed any exclusions. This is the first time i've seen an exclusion listed. I will also buy from Walmart to be safe.

Guess i'll just buy the oil at Walmart for $25 (current price) and then get the filter at local auto store for $12-$15 to get the $15 rebate. Or just submit a rebate for the oil only for $12 and buy the filter on amazon when it's on sale for $9 like it is now.
