I called Wells Fargo to confirm the deal. My wife was envious when I got a fat check from the previous deal.
I showed my sympathy by calling to confirm the deal is still around. They renewaled it.

1. Deposit at least $25 to fund your account.

Also, can you just close the account after you get the bonus, with no penalty?
You would be mistaken. It's a hard pull. Confirmed from having a Wells Fargo account opened last year (and closed soon after due to daily spending/withdrawal limits being on the laughable side).
But to confirm, for the deal this time around, does anyone know if you can close the account right away with no penalties?
