The Arlo Pro reportedly has less issues with lag in starting to capture video when motion is detected.
Both use the same cloud services - which I have found to be a big PITA to use - as often there are browser crashes using an up to date browser - as well as lag to connect to the cameras for live viewing.
Suspect you will also have to do as I did with the Arlo and place the base station closer to the cameras than you would like - unless you live in a small studio apartment - running a long ethernet cable from my router to the Arlo Base station.
Also, as battery operated wifi security cameras these really are designed for taking video clips when motion is detected - and not operate always taking video. If you keep that in mind, they can be useful - remember they are certainly not very good for evidence w/o embedded time stamps.
