CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Kids do that to you.

I have to go to the grocery. Nick is going over my mom's to mow, Jamie is staying here (Robert will be here, just sleeping) so I have to take Jack with me because obviously, Jamie is not big enough to watch Jack, and I'm pretty sure Jack can take him in a fight. Anyway, Jack's allergies are bothering him so he is nice and whiney. Yay. I wonder if I can make my mom feel bad enough for me to keep him while I'm at the store?

Remember I stated that I had started going to the other local CVs, because I HATE the one I used to go to, and plus their is an AWESOME cashier at the one I'm going too now?

He took all my printed coupons from my receipt, and scanned them in, and I got two 6 packs of Propel, a pack of children's Benadryl, and some cookies, for GET READY!

Sorry. This thing called work got in my way. Also you didn't say if you needed new underpants or not.

Finally some good news. I went to pay the phone bill (I thought it was $79) and found out that due to a credit I received for porting another line over I now have an $80 credit. woot

We went last week. Some of Tom's friends bartend there. Sadly, the first steaks they brought us were terribly overcooked ( they were both very well done to say the least). The next two steaks were cooked correctly but were inedible pieces of meat. Mad His friends were really embarrassed and the manager who came over was a douchebag. So we ended up only paying for drinks and getting Taco Bell on the way home.Mad

Which one did you go to? We like the one on White Bridge Rd the best. At least I do. The other one we've only been to once. I wish I had that mac and cheese recipe. laugh out loud
