I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post there own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a little prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

Hey, Lux, thanks for the thread and your concern.

First of all... thanks for the prayers.

Things seem to be ok with my papaw. They did blood work and xrays bout 6pm yesterday. The blood work results will be ready 48 hrs from then. The xray showed that it was possibly pneumonia. He was hurting in his chest area and having shortness of breath so of course I'm thinking, heart! He is 80 and had the heart attack last year. The docs ruled that out though. Phew! They kept him overnight and I just found out they want to keep him 3 to 5 days. They are treating him like it is pneumonia and will of course had definite results later today or Saturday from bloodwork.

This was "good news" actually. Pneumonia should be fixable. I'm just glad his heart is ok!

I have a friend at work whose dad was to go for lukemia tests today to try to figure out why he was having a loss of blood. However she told me yesterday that he went into the hospital Wednesday night with chest pains. The doctors said there was fluid around his heart. She did not have much information on his condition when I talked to her yesterday. He had a bad heart attack a couple years back and was not expected to make it so these last few years have been really hard on her and her family.
