These are other posters are full of it. This will run VR on low settings well enough for most games. You can run many games on low-medium with this setup. I run a 1060 and Vive and can run VR easily.

Yes, if you re-order you can still qualify for the rebate. Just feel out a new rebate form, and you can disregard the old one. It will get autodeclined.

You will want to use two 8gb sticks. If the motherboard only has two ram slots. If it has four ram slots. Then buy two 4gb sticks. Everything works on what is called dual channel memory.
