Port forwarding isn't possible. It's kind of complicated. You can use your own router, but not for that or hosting your own VPN.

Yep. Very counterintuitive. They're literally right next to one another too. But... Just tested this morning and switched to one of the 5g bands and got about 400/80. Connected to 2.4 and got 200/70....

Just run an Ethernet cable from the T-Mobile router into your router. You don't need bridge mode. Turn off the WiFi radio on the T-Mobile router if you want--although, generally, it's not a problem.
