Should've gotten a RX 480 or 580. NVIDIA cards don't support freesync because they are greedy farks.

After further research you can enable freesync through monitor menu. but its pointless as this monitor does not have dp only hdmi. hdmi is limited to 60 mhz which. Pass on this if you are interested...

If your gpu can pump out more than 75fps at this resolution in the games you play consistently (assuming you set the monitor to 75Hz) then you can just enable Vsync and won't have any frame tearing....

I got mine couple days ago. There are no built in speakers only a headphone in. The monitor has a volume control for your headphone.

They had 2 different lg 34 ultrawides at my store. The one I bought for 199 was the older model that they were clearing out (only had 2 left). They also had the new one out for 279.. Might check...

Personally I don't thing curved is much of a gain. And your 960 will run it monitor great since it's 1080 and not 1440p

Old model number is 34UM58. I didn't notice anything major. The stand was a little different but both were 1080 and had the same inputs and refresh rate. The newer model is 34UM61.

Yea hard to spend the extra $300 for the 35" curved 1080p 144hz. I don't think they make curved 1080p ultra wide that's 34 inches and 75hz that would save me money.
