This is a downgrade, in this area we all currently get 5 cents off swiping the card regardless of how little your previous visit was... now it requires 5 gallons on the previous visit in the future...

I've used fuel rewards for years and it's easy to save a few pennies. Shell gas in my area is always the lowest price anyway.

I'm assuming by "5 cents off my monthly statement" you are referring to the Shell Drive fo Five credit card. That is different from the Fuel Rewards loyalty program.
I do not have a Drive for Five...

Agreed. Except I'll be saving $0.60 per gallon since my Shell has $0.20 off premium gas on Tuesdays which also stacks!
I'm going to enjoy burning all of this gas after saving $12 tomorrow. Too bad...
