Yeah, unless you are on a professional e-sports team I don't think you need anything lower than 8ms. Especially in MOBAs, FPS it might help lower than that because it is more fluid/fast game.

$500 is still a ridiculous amount to pay for a TN monitor. The deal may be slick and the Predator is a good monitor but pay the extra/wait for a deal for IPS. It's worth it.
