I've got the IPS version, brand new, sealed. Got a good deal on it locally. Wife was pissed I bought it and wants me to get to rid of it ASAP. If I can sell it for $500 (not including shipping) then...

Found this deal through pcpartpicker's daily monitor price drop emails. This monitor can OC to 165hz, and I've read people OCing it past that without issues. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N11QIYW/

It was that low, it was clearance. I saw the floor model. I had to walk away slowly. If it was boxed, I would have. Got on the phone and called around other near costco; sold out. Figures. but at...

Guys how come you guys didn't pick up the floor model. Isn't it the same? Cuz I bought a TV from Frys and they took 10% off cuz it was a floor model and the TV was already on sale in the first place.

Sadly, xb271HU is also the TN model.

I've always heard the Dell S2716DG is a solid monitor to get for $500 which is identical to this except it can't overclock. Can you find an IPS that is identical to this at around the same price or...

I have the IPS version and was about to dive into a second one. Then saw it was the TN one and said NOPE!

even if this is cheaper than normal, no one should even consider buying this monitor. at this price you can snag an ips freesync 144hz or get another g sync 144hz tn monitor for a cheaper price.

I'm not rich by any means, but paid $700 for my BenQ XL2730Z day 1 and think it was worth every penny since it had everything I wanted, even though it was TN.

TN? might as well get the Dell S2716DG... I have one and my only complaint is stuck pixels popping up, but all I have to do is touch the screen gently by them.

I have been researching these for about a year. IPS vs TN. I understand the issue if you are playing from the side of your monitor, but this is the best deal I have seen in a while for a 27",...

If you're a pro gamer or even competitive gamer on shooters, you're going to want a TN panel. Otherwise, most people will prefer the IPS.

I paid full price for this monitor as it was one of the first high refresh IPS panels with actual quality control i.e. no dead pixels and backlight bleeding. If you've never had a 120Hz+ or IPS then...

I can assure 99.99% of people won't see a difference. No one is going to be able to notice let alone respond to a 3ms difference between the TN and IPS. This is just going by the GTG rather than...

As far as I know they don't make the HB271HU model in anything other than IPS. I researched this months ago when I was deciding between the Asus PG279Q and the XB271HU. An Acer rep answered the same...

I was reading that QA was a bit sketchy on these. If you get a good one, jackpot. If not, you play the return game. Does that sound right?

Don't bother with anything but the Dell if you're set on 27" / QHD / G-Sync / TN.

Yeah, unless you are on a professional e-sports team I don't think you need anything lower than 8ms. Especially in MOBAs, FPS it might help lower than that because it is more fluid/fast game.

This is the TN model ABMIPRZ not the IPS model BMIPRZ. Confusing as crap, yes. Everyone else: The Dell S2716 is a better deal going down to $400-425 but TN still is thoroughly inferior if you...

The IPS model from Costco for $399 is a completely different monitor. XB271HU IPS would not be that low. It usually floats around $700 and $550 for refurbished. I am currently using a XB271HU IPS...
