B250 is the business class chipset, and doesn't allow overclocking. The k version cpus are unlocked, meaning they can be overclocked. The k versions are also more expensive then the non k version....

Revert back to normal. The bios is where you change clock settings, so when you put a cpu in another motherboard with a different bios it's like starting from scratch.

Just built a machine with basically the same specs, exept one 500gig m.2 instead of those drives and it was about $1500. This is an ok deal for a prebuilt (assuming it has 16 gig ram, i didnt check)
