I have 4 of these linked in my 1 car garage and I only use them for detailing. 5000K is better for that. I'd buy more if I needed more light.

Costco has the FEIT brand for $20 fairly often. I don't think the Honeywells are worth a $15 premium.

no way it's 4500 lumens, that's over 100 lumens per watt..
its real rating is probably 3700 lumens like the similar costco version.
90 lumens per watt is a more realistic average for budget...

The version of this at Costco is much better... the tubes are still plastic but they look just like flo-tubes (soft, even lighting... not individual points)... and the overall quality of the output...

You do not want soft white for these...are you installing them in your kitchen?
These are garage/shop lights. 5000k is the right color temp. It gives more accurate color rendering.

The FEIT are only 3700 lumens and the Honeywells are 4500 lumens. So for a $5 difference on the 5th i would buy the 4500 lumen Honeywell lights, any other day i would probably do the FEIT.
