VGA can handle up to 2560x1536 if your cables are good enough, but seriously, unless you have a high-end CRT monitor or projector you're trying to preserve, there's really no reason to keep using it....

Don't forget about Freesync. I picked up the Samsung 24CFG70 for $200, which has a nice VA panel. I think the cheapest Gsync monitor costs high $200's and you have to settle with TN.

If the price was equal, yeah, the 1050 wins. But the performance difference is maybe 3%, basically a margin of error. So at $80 I don't care which card it is from what manufacturer. Good deal.

amd's naming scheme is retarded. look at rx 560, how would you know that it's not current gen when the rx 580 is one of the best cards they have.
