If the Qnix is a regular 16:9 monitor, then this one would be lower resolution and refresh rate (up to 75hz), but it's ultrawide and has Freesync. So it's a tradeoff.

No vertical orientation out of box. It only comes with a basic stand. You would need a VESA mount that swivels. I've got one infront of my treadmill mounted to the wall that swivels and adjusts....
