Yoga 720 has Thunderbolt 3 Port which is a premium feature and missing in Flex 5 and almost all comparable laptops at this price. Also the build quality is superior to Flex 5.

Not sure as I never considered the 13.3 720 Yoga. I wanted to be able to upgrade the RAM if I want. Having the option of adding a 2.5" HDD/SSD to the Flex 5 is possible, but not with the 13.3 Yoga....
