Yes, both instances will charge tax pre-discount price. However, at Costco, you get an instant rebate instead of waiting for a rebate to come through. Easier and quicker through Costco.

Didn't even notice that. So the only difference is that this newer one is a half pound heavier and has a newer CPU? Also two USB3 ports. Still decent for a cheap ultrabook.
