To me if Discover would rather not deal with the benefits they say they offer, they should not offer them and be upfront , honest, and respectful . I tend to just use the same credit card regularly...

If I wanted to Discover PP there's an infamous store that marks every clearance item down to 10 cents and its always an inventory error so it stays "in stock" for half a year until they do inventory.
