My guess is it depends on which phone you currently have the discover app installed. My wife has it on her s8, she got one for Samsung pay while I got the one for Android pay.

You can use it without having to lock bootloader. Just make sure your phone passes safety net. I have an unlocked BL and use suhide and it works. However, it won't work if you make too many changes...
