I own a Leaf and a Volt, they're awesome and have reduced my gas consumption to around $50 a YEAR. Since I charge at night during the time-of-use period, I don't even pay that much for electricity....

That's cheaper than the OP, but never put money down on a lease because you won't get it back if something happens to the car. Always roll it into your monthly payments.
