I purchased the UMC 22, instead of using a USB adapter for recording with my computer. It's a much better option. This is a plastic housing, so don't expect it to last on the road, but it works great...

I bought the UMC22 for $50 a month or two ago - just paired with a neewer condenser mic, and its fantastic. Great quality unit for the money. Well worth it at this price

I use a UMC22 with a cheap condenser mic ($20 with boom arm ) from neewer for gaming with friends and streaming and while it may seem to be overkill, the sound is actually noticably better than that...

The trouble with Behringer is, about half of their products aren't really theirs. They are straight up copies of competitor's circuits and occasionally entire chassis, with ICs and MOSFETs swapped...

Yes you will be able to do this, but if you want to use more than one microphone, you will need the 204HD model, which has inputs for 2 mics.

I would recommend getting the UMC204HD unless you are on a strict budget. Much better value and comparable to Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.

Yeah they are really good for budget stuff. I have the lower end model and it's amazing for guitars but it's not as good for XLR mics. This one has a much better pre-amp
