Specs here indicate that with a 1060 it starts at 6.28 pounds. Kind of heavy, imo. But good price if you don't mind the weight.

8gb ram holding me back. Ram isn't cheap these days and I find 16gb is the sweet spot. 8gb ram is what you will be spending that rebate on.

I found an 8GB stick on eBay that matched the OEM stuff my Dell shipped with. Same brand, same speed, same timings. I think it cost me $60. Not that big of a deal.

Also make sure they use 1 8gb dimm vs 2x4gb dimms or you are really screwed. I feel gtx 1060 laptops should be around this price. So I was tempted but just bleh I guess with the ram. I'm sure a asus...

You'll be able to max out everything to Ultra @ 1080P with this. This can run every modern game. This is a ridiculous price. I think you'd struggle to pay this for the equivalent desktop.

According to video card benchmarking sites, this is a correct statement. A 1060 MaxQ is about the same distance from a desktop 1060 as a desktop 1060 is from a desktop 1070. Its a pretty sizable...

Does this (i7-7700HQ) or the posted one (i5-7300) has an IPS display or a TN? On their website it does say IPS but I have checked several reviews online and all of them said its a TN display.
