I bought these for $10 in store. Compared to Lodge, the bottom of the pan seems much rougher, and I think that makes it stick more. I haven't actually cooked with a Lodge pan to determine how much...

Idk all the hoopla over lodge. I have a couple lodge skillets and they aren't the smoothest on the bottom. I wish I had some sandpaper to sand it down because it definitely causes it to stick more. ...

For $10, these make great baking dishes that present well. Since you're not turning your food, the sticking isn't quite as big a deal and the three sizes give some variety in presentation on a...

" Its interior is coated with durable Whitford two layers brand nonstick coating which makes it easy cook and easy clean-up." Had to look it up, but don't see a two layer formulation. Hey, it's $10....

They are not the same between brands. The handles are thinner and more prone to break on poor quality ones like Mainstays/Sears etc. Also, the edges can have burrs and be rough at seams. I suggest...

I wouldn't suggest using a cast iron scrub on cast iron, it will destroy your seasoning quickly. This kind of usage would result in a higher cost over time since you're likely reapplying your...

These probably won't make it past the first use before the bottoms warp and you end up with the bottom middle of the pan deformity which will result with an uneven cook surface. This will result...

Are they thinner than Lodge? I think that would be the only potential quality concern. Otherwise cast iron is cast iron. Machining might not be as smooth, but that can be buffed out with a dremel...

Sorry, but I think it should be illegal to put the words cast iron and mainstays in the same product description. I've never tried it, but I can just tell that if you buy this, you're just asking to...
