Yes, the Denon is probably a bit better. But, the Sony at $350 (which is what I bought too) is a better deal than the Denon 3300 at $450 (after newegg gift card).

Both brands have had their issues. I wouldn’t ever recommend overspending on a receiver as the software side of it gets outdated within a few years, the amplifiers are never as clean as inexpensive...
