I did some research, this monitor has about the width of a 27" monitor, but it has the height of a 20". So you would be better off with a regular 27" monitor

There is basically no real difference - only made so you can't price match (not an exact model). Ultrawides are awesome for web and spread sheet work in the vertical position - nothing beats them.
