That is what I figured would be the issue, but I couldn't really find confirmation anywhere on the web. I think I will stick with my Blue Iris and POE switch setup.

Works fine for me. There is a setting somewhere in the setup and select VGA or HDMI. Also make sure the resolution is set correctly.
