FYI - does not have to be an "OR" only, it can be an "AND/OR" - that is you can use both an NVR and Blue Iris in a hybrid setup.

You may have to look for the ONVIF setting..
Suggest also looking for Hikvision documentation ( wiki, youtube videos ) on how to connect a Dahua camera to a Hikvision NVR.

Works fine for me. There is a setting somewhere in the setup and select VGA or HDMI. Also make sure the resolution is set correctly.
