Myself and many others had this problem (discussed earlier in this thread). The solution was to contact Mintsim Customer service by phone (844-MINT-SIM M - F 6am to 6pm PST) and they can fix it right...

It says on their FAQ page.... "Mint Tip: You can lock in our introductory 3-month pricing by renewing for 12 months." So, why don't you just renew for the 12 months if you're happy with the service?

I say customer service at most companies these days is garbage and not just cell companies. I was with AT&T for 15 years and used to hate calling them for anything.

I'm using Republic Wireless and T-Mobile (that both these companies use) works fine in Austin. Make sure your phone has band 12 though.

I avoid the port in/port out hassle altogether by having my permanent number with Google Voice which in turn is instructed to forward to whatever number Mint gives me or for that matter whatever...
