The V1s were the first batch that were sold, had many issues, that have since been fixed in the V2s. The only M1060s sold brand new are the V2s.

They are a bit better, but redundant if you have both. Similar sound signature. Both are poor man's lcd2s. 98% of the sound quality for 30-50% the cost.
